About the Seminar

Clean agent is a gaseous fire suppressant that is electrically non-conducting and does not leave reside after evaporation.  This is one of the most popular fire suppression systems adopted for high value equipment / goods, such as historical artifacts & sensitive electronic equipment.  Since the most popular type of Clean Agent Suppression is Total Flooding System and this type of system’s key performance is highly dependent on the enclosure integrity (i.e. holding period after discharge), such that the examine and test of room integrity leakage in terms of quantitative results shall be obtained and recorded.

This presentation will introduce the recent development and control of different suppression agents, key parameters for total flooding system design and share cases that fail to pass the room integrity test and suggested solutions to fulfill the holding period.

About the Speaker

Ir George LEE, Director of YOTTA Engineering Company Limited, Hon. Secretary of The Association of Registered Fire Service Installation Contractors of Hong Kong Limited.  Ir LEE with over 25 years experiences in Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing systems and specializing in engineering systems design, such as Long Throw Sprinkler system, Watermist system, water spray system, drencher system and Fire monitor system.  Ir LEE completed many projects in Hong Kong and Macau including Hong Kong Palace Museum, Venetian Macau & MGM Macau.
