To promote the advance in science, technology
and practice of Fire Engineering, the Fire Division of The Hong Kong
Institution of Engineers will organize its 9th Annual Symposium on 28 April this
year. The theme of the Symposium is “From Vision to Practice”. It aims to
facilitate the sharing of the evolution of Fire Safety Practice and exchange of
new ideas and implementation strategy in relation to Fire Engineering.
Mr. LI Kin-yat, Director of Fire Services, has kindly consented to be our Guest
of Honour and will deliver an opening speech. Prominent overseas and local
speakers are invited to share their experiences and insights with our local
