Highlights

To promote the advance in science, technology and practice of Fire Engineering, the Fire Division of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers will organize its 8th Annual Symposium on 21 April 2016 (Thursday). The theme of the symposium is “Fire Risk Management in Modern Cities”. It aims to facilitate the sharing of the evolution of Fire Safety Management and exchange the new ideas and researches in relation to Fire Engineering.

Ir Dr Hon LO Wai Kwok, SBS, BBS, MH, JP, Member of the Legislative Council (Engineering Functional Constituency), has kindly consented to be the Guest of Honour and will deliver an opening speech; prominent speakers from overseas, Asia Pacic and Mainland China will be invited to share their experiences and insights with our local experts and audiences of the event.
