Programme Highlights

For the 2023 overseas technical visit, Singapore is the city to explore and to share our fire engineering experiences.  We will be visiting the National University of Singapore, the Fire and Rescue Singapore, local Fire Engineering Consultants and IFE Singapore & Fire Protection Association Singapore.  Other leading-edge engineering design infrastructure/ building such as 230KV Cable tunnel, Jewel Changi Airport, etc. will also be toured.  The visit aims at enriching participants’ knowledge on the state-of-the-art fire engineering technology, fire safety and firefighting operations, as well as networking with fire professionals in Singapore.

Starting from HK$ ~7,500 ~ ~9500 (subject to the finalized itinerary)

Please note that all applicants shall provide their ENGLISH FULL NAME shown on passport and their HKIE membership number.  For successful applicants, more details will be required for flight and hotel booking.  Members are required to apply their own visa for travelling to Singapore if needed.  The organizer reserves the right to reject those applications without required information submitted.

The number of participants is limited to 15 and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to FE members.  Limited places with sponsorship are allocated to student with a keen interest in fire engineering design and fire safety measures.  Deadline of application is 15 March 2023 noon.  Successful applicants will be notified by email and method of payment to HKIE Fire Division will be notified accordingly for Successful applicants.
