Programme Highlights

Upholding the idea of “Innofacturing Tomorrow”, HKSTP pioneers the state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) at Tseung Kwan O INNOPARK, providing a gross floor area of about 108,580 sq. m. The AMC equips companies of different scales with scalable, efficient, and dedicated logistics serviced manufacturing space, and assists them in embarking on technological innovation, high value-added and low volume but highly customised production with the application of advanced manufacturing and testing processes. The AMC also provides comprehensive services for logistics, warehousing, prototyping, low-volume assembly and cleanroom-enabled space.AMC is a purpose-developed advanced manufacturing base for industrialists to quickly turn innovative ideas into quality products and go to market on the fast track. It is the ideal base for these industries:

·         Medical, health and hospital devices and equipment

·         Robo-electronics and smart power devices for smart city applications

·         Smart electronics and optical equipment

·         Smart sensor fabrication, semiconductor advanced packaging

·         Biomedical engineering devices, implants and equipment

Other industries that facilitate the growth of advanced manufacturing ecosystem are welcomed, including:

·         Analytical labs, testing & certification labs

·         Advanced product packaging manufacturing

·         Manufacturing of advanced technology / new materials

·         Upstream / downstream manufacturing

Highlights for the technical visit are DfMA, MIMEP including SES plant, Seawater District cooling system, in-rack sprinkler for logistic center, etc.

The technical visit is free of charge and prior registration is required. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis [Limited to 20]. Successful registration will be notified individually.  The deadline of application is 1 September 2022.
